We are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative Assistant to join our busy and growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive, safety-focused workplace where quality, teamwork, and customer service are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, check, and store incoming goods in the correct locations.
- Prepare customer orders accurately and load them onto vehicles for collection or delivery.
- Sign for incoming deliveries and maintain delivery records.
- Keep accurate stock records and monitor stock levels.
- Assist with monthly stock takes and stock reporting.
- Build positive relationships with customers at collection and returns points.
- Support the wider team with warehouse duties as required.
- Be flexible in assisting with stocktaking and occasional overtime when needed.
Skills and Experience
- Previous warehouse, stores, or yard experience is advantageous.
- A valid Forklift Licence.
- Good numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Basic IT skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- A proactive, flexible approach with a positive can-do attitude.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative when required.
