Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am β 5:00 pm
Salary: Β£45 - Β£55k DOE

An established and expanding precision engineering company is seeking an experienced and motivated CAD/CAM Programmer, Setter & Operator to join its skilled manufacturing team.

The Role
- Programming 5-axis CNC machines using hyperMILL CAD/CAM software
- Setting and operating CNC machinery
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Selecting appropriate tooling and machining strategies
- Producing precision components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Carrying out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
- Troubleshooting machining issues and implementing process improvements
- Optimising machining processes and cycle times
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a CAD/CAM programming role
- Strong CNC setting and operating experience
- The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Good knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive, reliable, and proactive attitude
