An exciting opportunity has emerged for an MI Developer as part of the Compliance MI team at evoke. In this role, you will help produce operational reports and MI dashboards for Compliance teams, ensuring our customers enjoy the safest betting experience possible. You will communicate and collaborate with Compliance stakeholders to deliver reports that meet their requirements and work closely with the wider Business Analytics team—including Analytics, Commercial MI, and Data Scientists—to produce these reports using tools such as Power BI, Snowflake, and Power Automate. It’s an exciting time to join as we move the goalposts within our team to explore how AI can enhance our work.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements from stakeholders and transform them into MI dashboards and operational reports.
- Compile monthly and quarterly regulatory reports across our Online and Retail businesses.
- Pick up ad‑hoc requests from stakeholders.
- Perform UAT on new datasets to ensure accurate reporting.
- Create views and stored procedures within Snowflake to support reporting.
- Contribute to semantic model creation to establish a one‑source‑of‑truth hub for our reporting data.
Qualifications
- Experience in an MI/BI Developer role with strong SQL skills.
- Strong data visualisation skills (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Experience with modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake).
- A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field.
- Knowledge of Power Automate is advantageous, as well as familiarity with data modelling concepts and AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT).
- Understanding of semantic models is desirable.
