Based in London or Leeds, as part of our Commercial and Customer Analytics team, you\βll join a dynamic group of professionals who are passionate about delivering insights that shape strategy and drive decision-making across the business. We work closely with global stakeholders and are respected as subject matter experts across key areas including Customer Lifecycle Management, Gaming and Sportsbook Commercial, Retail, Growth & Strategy, and Marketing. In this role, you\βll lead high-impact analytics initiatives, mentor a talented team (some are off-shore), and collaborate with other leaders across the Business Analytics function to deliver best-in-class, end-to-end solutions. Responsibilities
- Leading a team of onshore and offshore analysts to ensure optimal business support and value creation where possible.
- Ensure positive engagement of the team through development plans and other means.
- Develop and own Growth & Strategy Analytics strategy and associated milestones aligned to Business and Team Specific objectives.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across Strategy, Research, BI, Ops, and Commercial teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration across diverse business areas.
- Work with Director of Commercial and Customer analytics and other senior members of the team to ensure collaboration and transparent communication is happening where required.
- Collaborate with BI and Data Ops team to ensure development plans are aligned to business requirements. Inform new ways to cut data to narrate business performance aligned to stakeholder and business objectives.
- Coach on technical, analytical and softer skills for those in the team.
- Conduct own deep dive analysis when required.
Qualifications
- Proven in-depth experience in commercial analytics, customer insights, or a related field. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Expert in data storytelling and visualisation, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Proficient in analytical tools such as SQL, Python, or R, and BI platforms like Power BI or Tableau with significant experience leading teams and developing talent in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Passionate about data, curious about business, and committed to driving impact.
- Excellent analytics skills with proven experience in strategy, commercial analytics, or business intelligence roles. Experience working with customer insights, survey/NPS analysis, and segmentation frameworks. Leadership skills to manage, motivate, and mentor a team (some offshore).
- Proven ability to translate business needs into actionable data insights with excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Experience working with large datasets, data warehouses, and advanced analytics techniques, with excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g. Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics) and expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel) and advanced analytics tools (e.g. SQL, Python, R).
