Why this role might be right for you This position offers a unique chance to drive crucial aviation and weapons integration projects, working closely with key stakeholders including airworthiness authorities and technical teams.
Based in Bristol with the flexibility of hybrid working (2-3 days onsite), you'll manage forward-looking engineering plans and lead technical testing and validation activities on cutting-edge weapon systems.
Key responsibilities include: Leading the generation and execution of the engineering management plan, focusing on aviation aspects for the Urgent One Way Effector capability.
Managing the development of technical requirements and overseeing the test, verification, and evaluation processes.
Formulating the engineering roadmap for future phases of the project and ensuring technical data provided by suppliers meets quality standards.
Providing expert advice to senior leaders, including the Chief Engineer and Safety authorities, on technical matters.
