We are working with a leading defence client in Bristol to find a DV cleared Requirements Manager to join their team on an exciting long-term contract. About the Role
As Requirements Manager, you will play a vital role under a critical defence programme, working on the integration of equipment within military vehicle platforms. Your responsibilities will include managing requirements documentation, driving alignment across stakeholder groups, and ensuring the seamless integration of new and in-service vehicle systems. The role offers a level of flexibility with hybrid working, requiring onsite presence of 2 to 3 days per week in Bristol and an initial contract until 31 March 2027, with the scope to extend.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and uplift integration and physical protection requirements documents (U/SRD), ensuring proper version control, updates, and stakeholder feedback
- Maintain alignment with authoritative sources, including evidence, trials, and modelling data
- Generate CONUSE documentation to support requirements baselining
- Coordinate reviews with stakeholders such as Army, NPA, DE&S, and safety communities
- Ensure proper documentation management, including referencing, change control, and configuration management
What we’re looking for
Essential qualifications and experience:
- Current DV security clearance
- Proven background in Requirements Management or Requirements Engineering within Defence or MOD programmes
- Systems Engineering or Engineering Management experience
- Experience authoring and managing requirements documentation (SRDs, URDs, U/SRDs)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Document and configuration control expertise
Desirable skills and experience:
- Vehicle Integration and Land Systems experience
- Keen understanding of Physical Protection systems
- Systems Integration, Verification & Validation experience
- Experience developing CONOPS and CONUSE documentation
- Usage of requirements management tools such as DOORS
- INCOSE certifications (ASEP, CSEP), or Chartered Engineer status
- Experience working with defence primes and leading industry standards
- Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related STEM discipline (or equivalent industry experience)

- Location: Bristol, with hybrid working (2-3 days onsite per week)

- Contract duration: Until 31/03/2027, with potential for extension
- Day Rate: Up to £570 per day (Inside IR35)
