Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a background in Defence and a passion for supporting cutting-edge military vehicles? Evodia Limited is currently partnering with a leading client to find a SC cleared Electrical Power & Distribution Engineer on a contract basis, based in Bristol with a flexible hybrid working pattern.
Location: Bristol (2 days on-site), Merthyr Tydfil (1 day), with 2 days working from home

Youll join a dedicated team responsible for vehicle assurance, focusing on electrical power and distribution systems on the AJAX military land vehicle.
As a Electrical Engineer, you will:
- Lead the design and technical assessment of electrical power components
- Evaluate design modifications
- Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure system compliance and safety standards are met
- Ensure all electrical designs adhere to relevant safety and quality standards
- Proactively identify risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in electrical systems
Requirements:
- Registered as EngTech or equivalent, with a relevant professional qualification at RQF Level 3 or above
- At least 3 years' relevant experience managing electrical system design
- Experience with design change, configuration, and concessions management is highly desirable
- Familiarity with military or defence vehicle electrical systems is advantageous
