About the Role

- Day Rate: £425 - £475 per day (Outside IR35)
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed, resource‑loaded schedules within Microsoft Project that encompass the full scope of work.
- Create logically sequenced, dependency‑driven, and milestone‑aligned schedules, including critical path analysis and risk mitigation strategies.
- Engage stakeholders in validating schedule data, ensuring accuracy and buy‑in across the project team.
- Monitor schedule health, identify delays, and provide recommendations for recovery plans.
- Support change management processes by assessing impacts and updating schedules accordingly.
- Generate reports, dashboards, and schedule health checks to keep project teams and stakeholders informed and aligned.
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive practical experience in schedule management within complex programmes or multi‑stakeholder environments.
- Proficiency in MS Project software (experience with other scheduling tools is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills, with a focus on risk assessment and interdependency analysis.
- Knowledge of recognised scheduling standards (e.g., UK Government’s Project Delivery Standard, APM Scheduling Guidelines).
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, able to build consensus across diverse teams.
- SC clearance is mandatory.
