Are you an experienced Engineering Manager with a background in Ordnance, Munitions & Explosives (OME)? Evodia Limited is partnering with a leading Defence company in Bristol to source an SC cleared Engineering Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project delivering cutting‑edge Air Defence capabilities.

What you’ll do: You’ll join a Delivery Team, spearheading the project, which aims to showcase vital capabilities from industry suppliers following successful trials at MOD Hebrides. Your role will focus on providing expert engineering advice, managing design reviews and ensuring all documentation aligns with programme requirements. You’ll act as the primary point of contact with industry, ensuring compliance and integration with project sponsors and customers.

Contract Details:

  • Location: Based at MOD Abbeywood in Bristol, this role offers a flexible hybrid working pattern, working from home with just one day per week onsite, making it manageable and convenient.
  • Duration: This is an initial 90‑day contract with the potential for extension.
  • Rate: The role offers a day rate of up to £570 (ex VAT), and falls inside IR35.

What we’re looking for:

Essential Experience:
  • Proven engagement with assurance authorities and management of engineering processes.
  • Familiarity with DE&S Engineering Policy.
  • Experience working within OME, DOSR, and DSA Regulations.
Desirable Skills:
  • Background working on GiK or rapid procurement projects.
  • Experience with DE&S Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
  • Holding a relevant STEM qualification (RQF Level 4 or higher, e.g., HNC or above).
  • Professional registration as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng), Chartered Engineer (CEng), Registered Scientist (RSci), or Chartered Scientist (CSci).
