Project Manager (0.5 FTE) - SC Cleared in City of Westminster

The project is developing artificial intelligence (AI) capability to support the client in identifying and responding to changes in activity. The role will support the effective delivery of the project, working across the client, delivery contractor and wider stakeholder community.,

• Ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility of progress, risks, dependencies, costs and forecast outcomes to support timely decision-making and effective project governance.
• Managing the UK contractor undertaking the development work.
• Managing project governance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensuring delivery priorities reflect client needs, resources remain focused on the right activities and delivery can adapt appropriately as requirements evolve.This is an Expression of Interest opportunity - The role requires a competent and experienced PM. Previous defence experience would be beneficial, although this is not essential, and would assist with understanding the environment, processes, and language. The individual should have some knowledge of and interest in IT/AI, be comfortable with extensive stakeholder engagement, and be able to multitask and deliver in a complex environment, recognising the evolving nature of AI development., Project period: Initial engagement, with the possibility of extending through to 31 March 2028, subject to ongoing project requirements.
• Support required: would be a 0.5 FTE to start and the possibility (but not guaranteed) to go to 1 FTE during any extended project period.
• Clearance: Ideally MOD GOLD, although SC may be considered for the right candidate.
• Locations: The individual must be willing to travel, sometimes at short notice. Primary locations will include NWD, RAF Wyton and London.Circa £ 550 per day
