Are you a Quality Assurance professional with a passion for aviation and a background supporting rotary wing projects? Evodia Limited is working with a leading client in Bristol to find an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the defence and aerospace sectors, offering flexibility with hybrid working arrangements.
Location: Bristol (2 to 3 days onsite per week)
Contract Duration: ASAP until 30 June 2026, with scope for long term extension
Remuneration: £420 - £570 per day (Inside IR35)
Security Clearance: SC clearance required
As a key part of the Safety and Engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with government quality standards, managing risks, and supporting continual improvement across the supply chain. Your expertise will help deliver safe and airworthy rotary wing and UAS systems.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing governance, assurance, and continuous improvement within the Rotary Wing and UAS sectors
- Supporting supplier performance assessment and risk management across multiple projects
- Ensuring adherence to the Government Quality Assurance (GQA) framework
- Collaborating with supply chain partners to promote safe, reliable, and airworthy systems
About You:
- Registered with the CQI as Practitioner Grade (PCQI)
- Experience delivering quality assurance within an acquisition environment, with a focus on supply chain engagement in the Air domain (preferably Rotary Wing)
- Knowledge of QA specialists areas, including Configuration Management
- Holding an engineering qualification at RQF Level 6 or being registered with the Engineering Council as an Engineering Technician (EngTech)
- SC security clearance is essential due to project timescales
