Are you an experienced Engineer with a background in UAS safety and airworthiness? We are working with a client who is seeking a Peregrine UAS Engineering Authority to help support their advanced ISR platform. If you’re SC cleared, have hands-on experience with RA 1000, 4000, & 5000 serials, and are familiar with the Air Engineers Tool Kit and Resolve, then this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
About the Role
This is a contract position based in Bristol, with a flexible hybrid working pattern requiring 1 to 2 days onsite each week, with occasional travel to Yeovil or Predannack. The contract runs until 31 March 2027, with potential for extension, and offers a day rate of between £420 and £570 (inside IR35). The client is looking for someone ASAP to join their dedicated Peregrine UAS team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting OSO development with new SORA-based TASA, PSP, and ASSWG requirements
- Managing RTS amendments, including RTSR activities
- Supporting ECRtL activities alongside the ECWG
- Reacting to frontline command enquiries and fault tracking/investigation
- Overseeing integrity management of the UAS platform
What You Will Need
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven TAw Desk Officer experience working with RA 1000, 4000, and 5000 serials
- Hands-on experience with the Air Engineers Tool Kit
- Experience working with Resolve
Desirable Skills
- JARUS SORA experience or development of UAS safety artefacts
- S2 UAS experience
