Leading Hand
Your duties as a Leading hand will include being responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring all KPI\’s and productivity levels are maintained in line with company targets, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
Your Responsibilities As a Mezz QC Leading Hand
- Be an excellent communicator and motivator with the ability to delegate and empower teams to achieve.
- The ability to lead your team to achieve KPI\’s and objectives to ensure the site operates effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to co-ordinate work and allocate resources amongst the team
- Willing to work in all area\’s of the warehouse and prioritise as per operational requirements.
- Be able to cover the Supervisor role when required.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Experience in a Warehouse environment within a Distribution background.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to co-ordinate works and allocates resources amongst team.
- Commitment – sees the job through to completion.
- Team Leader skills, leading and motivating staff.
- Awareness of Health and Safety in the Warehouse.
Desirable
- Experience in Warehouse Management Systems would be an advantage.
