Are you a hands-on leader with a background in last-mile logistics? We\’re looking for a Transport Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy fleet of 3.5T vans, ensuring efficient, customer-focused final mile delivery.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate a team of multi-drop van drivers across daily delivery routes.
- Plan and allocate routes to maximise efficiency and meet customer expectations.
- Monitor vehicle performance, driver compliance, and delivery KPIs.
- Ensure all operations comply with health & safety and transport regulations.
- Act as the first point of contact for driver issues, customer escalations, and operational challenges.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of drivers.
What We\\\’re Looking For
- Experience in a transport or logistics supervisory role, ideally in final mile or parcel delivery.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of driver regulations and vehicle compliance (3.5T).
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- IT literate – experience with route planning or fleet management systems is a plus.
