Join to apply for the Security Officer role at evo. We are recruiting a dedicated and reliable security officer to join our security team at Banner Normanton distribution centre.
Your Schedule: 42 hours per week role, 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 12 hours per shift.
Key Responsibilities- Manage access and egress to ensure only authorised personnel enter and exit the site.
- Respond to incidents, alarm activations, security breaches and take appropriate actions.
- Maintain accurate logs, incident reports and check calls.
- Conduct patrols to identify potential risks and security breaches.
- CCTV monitoring.
- Conduct staff and car searches to maintain security standards.
- Manage visitor passes, keys and security equipment.
- Operate staff/customers stop and search policies when required.
- Display an outstanding level of customer service.
- Ability to work weekends, days and nights.
- Must be computer literate.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Ability to respond to emergencies calmly and effectively.
- SIA licence is required.
- First aid certificate is required.
- Right to work in the UK and checkable work history.
- Driving licence required.
- Experience of working within the security industry is an advantage.
