We are representing a rapidly expanding, award-winning, global tech recruitment consultancy, who are looking for a marketing/senior marketing executive for a 12-month fixed term maternity contract. Our client delivers exec search, RPO, recruitment and tech professional services and with year-on-year growth; it is a genuinely lovely company with some interesting clients to work with. Starting in January (beginning or mid) your role will be to support the growth of the company with the continuous implementation of marketing initiatives, in line with the business strategy and sector. The Marketing Executive will work closely with the management team to execute a group-wide marketing strategy across our client’s main business units and markets.
Main responsibilities:
- Own, manage and deliver the group-wide content strategy across our website, social media platforms and external events.
- Ownership of grass-roots lead generation through both inbound and outbound marketing both online and offline.
- Design leaders with responsibilities including PowerPoint, blog imagery, job advert imagery, brochures and whitepapers.
- Lead the content marketing strategy: copywriting, editing, reviewing and publishing. This includes social media, blogs, posts, PR articles, whitepapers, brochures and website copy.
- Ownership of the company's website: continuous content improvement and day-to-day management.
- Manage email marketing campaigns to both clients and candidates through an email automation tool. Optimise emails, analysing results and producing lead nurturing campaigns.
- Work closely with the sales teams to market out great candidates and drive new client acquisitions.
- Execute a marketing strategy in line with the business strategy and objectives.
- Become a trusted advisor, acting as a brand ambassador, promote the marketing plan and provide regular marketing activity updates.
- Write and coordinate the distribution of editorial content, thought leadership pieces, marketing collateral and digital communications.
- Drive the continued development of the company website, analysing its performance, alongside devising a robust SEO strategy.
- Develop and manage a relevant and impactful social media strategy.
- Identify event opportunities and devise and coordinate a calendar of best in class company internal and external events.
- Provide ROI analysis on marketing activities making recommendations on continued or future marketing spend.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years' experience in B2B marketing and communications gained within a business services environment, ideally within the recruitment industry.
- Worked on successful digital and social media strategies.
- Knowledge of WordPress is a plus.
- Proven experience in generating new leads through various mediums.
- Extensive lead generation within the recruitment/sales environment.
- Experience in executing content-driven marketing activities.
- A strong copywriter with the ability to produce multiple pieces of content simultaneously.
- Strong design and creativity skills.
- Good communication and organisation skills.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to pragmatically prioritise activities and manage stakeholder requests.
