Evo Personnel are acting as an employment agency, and we are looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Team Leader for our prestigious manufacturing client in the Burnley area.
Salary & Package: Β£40,000.00 - Β£44,000.00 DOE.

Working Hours: Day Shift Monday β Thursday 07:00 β 17:00. 36 hour week. Flexibility is required in peak season.
Qualifications Required: Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience Required:
- Mechanical maintenance of machinery.
- Basic electrical skills are required to wire motors.
- Understand Health & Safety.
- Implement improvement measures.
- Perform audits on the machinery.
- Work closely with contractors on-site, organise documents and obtain quotes.
- Facilitate continuous improvement.
- Lead, support and guide engineers.
- Organise 1-2-1 meetings with the team.
- Conduct effective preventative maintenance.
- Support with stock takes.
- Organise timesheets.
- A strong understanding of IT is needed.
- Able to write reports, log data and organise schedules.
- Organisation and communication skills are required.
- Planning and arranging maintenance on-site.
- Organising waste disposal and recycling.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You will be required to lead a team of engineers, maintain machinery and perform general maintenance around the company. You will need to work closely with other departments and ensure the factory is running at full capacity. The right candidate will be hands-on, have the experience/knowledge & qualifications required and want to progress in a forward-thinking company.
