We are looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Team Leader for our prestigious manufacturing client in the Burnley area.
Salary & Package: Β£40,000.00 - Β£44,000.00 DOE.

Working Hours: Day Shift β Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 17:00. 36 hour week. Flexibility is required in peak season.
Role Overview: You will be required to lead a team of engineers, maintain machinery and perform general maintenance around the company. You will need to work closely with other departments and ensure the factory is running at full capacity. The right candidate will be hands-on, have the experience/knowledge & qualifications required and want to progress in a forward-thinking company.
Responsibilities:
- Implement improvement measures.
- Perform audits on the machinery.
- Work closely with contractors on-site, organise documents and obtain quotes.
- Facilitate continuous improvement.
- Lead, support and guide engineers.
- Organise 1-2-1 meetings with the team.
- Conduct effective preventative maintenance.
- Support with stock takes.
- Organise timesheets.
- A strong understanding of IT is needed.
- Able to write reports, log data and organise schedules.
- Organisation and communication skills are required.
- Planning and arranging maintenance on-site.
- Organising waste disposal and recycling.
Qualifications:
- Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering.
- Mechanical maintenance of machinery.
- Basic electrical skills are required to wire motors.
- Understand Health & Safety.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
