We are currently recruiting an experienced Sewing Machinist to join our client's growing production team. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and wants stable, ongoing work in a professional environment.
Location: Preston
Salary: £28,080.00 - £39,520.00 DOE
Hours: Full-time / Overtime available Monday – Thursday 06:30 – 16:30 40 hours per week.
Role Responsibilities:
- Operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality garments/products
- Working with a range of fabrics including light and heavy materials
- Able to operate Zig Zag and Mauser machines, Overlock, and sew leather
- Carrying out basic quality checks to ensure finished products meet standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Meeting daily/weekly production targets

- Previous experience as a Sewing Machinist (essential)
- Confident using industrial sewing machines
- Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
