We are currently recruiting an experienced Sewing Machinist to join our client's growing production team. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and wants stable, ongoing work in a professional environment.
Location: Preston
Salary: Β£28,080.00 - Β£39,520.00 DOE
Hours: Full-time / Overtime available Monday β Thursday 06:30 β 16:30, 40 hours per week.
Role Responsibilities:
- Operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality garments/products
- Working with a range of fabrics including light and heavy materials
- Able to operate a Zig Zag and Mauser machines, Overlock, and sewing leather
- Carrying out basic quality checks to ensure finished products meet standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Meeting daily/weekly production targets
