We are looking for an experienced Coded Welder to join our growing team working on industrial and commercial projects. The successful candidate must be skilled in high-quality welding and able to work to strict safety and technical standards.
Responsibilities
- Carry out MIG, TIG, and/or MMA welding to coded standards EN1090
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans
- Perform welding inspections and quality checks
- Work on structural steel, pipework, or pressure systems
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining high workmanship standards
Requirements
- Valid welding coding's/certifications (e.g. ASME, BS EN ISO, or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a coded welder
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Able to weld 25mm/30mm
- Perform Butt & Rotational welding
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This role is suited for a Coded Welder Fabricator who's worked in an engineering environment and has worked on heavy steel construction structures. You'll need to weld/fabricate and be able to perform both MIG and TIG welding. You'll need to assemble structures together, use hand/power tools and read engineering drawings whilst operating in line with WPS.
