Are you a true new business hunter who thrives on opening doors, creating opportunities and winning strategic accounts?
At evo, we're looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Strategic Business Development Manager to join our growing New Business team.
This is a high-impact role focused on identifying, developing and securing new business with medium and large private sector organisations across the UK.

What You'll Be Doing
This is not an account management role.
You'll be responsible for generating opportunities from the ground up and managing the entire sales journey through to contract award and mobilisation.
You'll be
- Identifying and targeting new private sector opportunities
- Prospecting through calls, email campaigns, Linked In and networking
- Building relationships with senior stakeholders and decision makers
- Converting activity into qualified meetings and sales opportunities
- Managing complex sales processes, tenders and negotiations
- Developing compelling commercial proposals and business cases
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure successful customer onboarding
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a proven new business professional with
- ? A track record of winning new business in a B2B environment
- ? Experience building a self-generated pipeline through proactive prospecting
- ? A strong hunter mentality with resilience, drive and commercial ambition
- ? Experience managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract signature
- ? Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- ? The ability to engage confidently with senior decision makers and C-suite stakeholders
- ? Strong commercial awareness and CRM discipline

- Experience selling into large private sector organisations
- Knowledge of workplace supplies, facilities management, technology, furniture, print or related sectors
- Experience of complex tenders, RFPs and procurement processes
- Familiarity with Linked In Sales Navigator and sales intelligence tools
- An established network of business contacts
