Warehouse Supervisor / Team Leader
to join our busy
Normanton Distribution Centre , supporting continued business growth while leading a high-performing warehouse team.
This role combines operational leadership with day-to-day involvement to ensure service, productivity, accuracy and safety standards are consistently achieved.
What You'll Be Doing Leading, motivating and developing a team of warehouse operatives.
Managing daily warehouse activities including goods-in, goods-out, picking, packing, loading and dispatch.
Allocating workloads and ensuring operational priorities are delivered efficiently.
Monitoring productivity, accuracy and performance against key operational targets.
Supporting and coaching colleagues to achieve individual and team success.
Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Maintaining high levels of stock accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
Working closely with transport, logistics and management teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and reduce waste.
What We're Looking For Essential Previous warehouse experience.
Experience supervising, leading or coaching a team.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced operation and deliver against deadlines.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity.
Desirable Stock control experience.
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience working within KPI-driven warehouse environments.
