The Role
As Transport Supervisor, you'll support the running of our transport operation, ensuring our drivers, vehicles and customers receive the highest level of service.
This is a varied role that combines operational leadership with the opportunity to influence future improvements across the business.
Key responsibilities include
- Supervising the day-to-day transport operation
- Supporting and motivating a small team of drivers
- Ensuring compliance with transport legislation and company procedures
- Managing driver communications, briefings and debriefs
- Supporting route planning and operational efficiency
- Monitoring performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Investigating and resolving operational issues when they arise
- Working closely with colleagues across the business to deliver excellent customer service
- Contributing ideas and recommendations that support the ongoing development of the transport function
