As a result of continued growth in our business, we are looking for Multi-Drop Delivery drivers to join our team based in Hemel. As the face of our business out on the road you will be making deliveries to customers on behalf of our in-house supply chain solutions. Goods are varied but always suitable for lone worker deliveries.
For most of the day you will be your own boss but there will be a team of managers and colleagues to assist you if you encounter issues whilst on the road. We are looking for staff who can approach the role with a positive attitude and are looking for a long term stable environment where they can enjoy a good work / life balance.
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, delivering during normal office opening hours.
We need drivers who can:
- Be an ambassador for the Company, not only when making deliveries but also when driving to represent the business in the best possible light.
- Be able to complete daily checks on the vehicle to ensure its roadworthiness and drive safely and within the law at all times.
- Load your van each morning, ensuring the load is complete using a handheld scanning device, and ensure the load is secure prior to departure.
- React to our customers requirements to deliver the best possible service.
- Follow our health and safety guidance to ensure all staff go home safely.
You need to be:
- Reliable, approachable, flexible, have a good sense of humour and good communication skills.
- Confident enough to drive a 3.5tn 'Transit' size van; driving experience although not essential would be an advantage.
- You need to be physically fit and looking for a long-term position working as part of a team.
