In this pivotal leadership role, youll oversee the day-to-day operations of our transport function, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient service delivery across our national networkwhile driving continuous improvement and team development.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Lead by Example: Supervise and support the transport team, fostering a culture of safety, compliance, and high performance.
- Operational Excellence: Plan and manage vehicle routing, tracking, and maintenance to maximise efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Customer Focus: Build strong relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional service and timely resolution of any issues.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations meet the highest standards of safety and legal compliance.
- Drive Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and boost performance.
- Team Development: Mentor and develop your team, providing the tools and support they need to thrive.
What Were Looking For:
- A confident leader with experience in fast-paced logistics environments.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- A valid National or International CPC qualification.
- Solid understanding of transport and network planning, particularly in multi-drop operations.
