HGV Class C+E Driver - Join Our Logistics Team in Normanton
What You'll Be Doing:
- Conducting daily pre- and post-journey vehicle checks to ensure safety and legal compliance.
- Loading and unloading vehicles where required, ensuring all goods are secure and accounted for.
- Departing on time with all necessary documentation, equipment, and fuel cards in place.
- Delivering and collecting goods safely, efficiently, and courteously at customer sites.
- Using MHE (Material Handling Equipment) when trained and required.
- Maintaining a professional and customer-focused attitude at all times.
- Recording delivery and collection details using handheld electronic devices (HHT).
- Returning vehicles clean, refueled, and in good working condition.
- Adhering to all road traffic laws, drivers' hours regulations, and company policies.
- Wearing the correct uniform and PPE at all times.
A valid C+E Category Licence.
Driver CPC (DCPC) qualification and Digital Tachograph experience.
Proven experience driving HGV vehicles.
A strong customer service mindset with a polite, professional approach.
A commitment to safety, punctuality, and teamwork.
