Leading Hand AM Shift in Leicester

Ready to Lead from the Front? We're looking for a proactive and hands-on Leading Hand to join our warehouse operation at ADC. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse leadership experience who enjoys motivating teams, driving performance, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. As a Leading Hand, you'll play a key role in supporting the Shift Leader, coordinating daily warehouse activities, and ensuring operational targets are consistently achieved. What You'll Be Doing Leading and motivating a team of warehouse operatives Allocating workloads and resources to maximise productivity Supporting the achievement of site KPIs and operational objectives Promoting and maintaining high standards of health and safety Ensuring warehouse processes and documentation are completed accurately Supporting effective communication and shift handovers Deputising for the Supervisor or Shift Leader when required Working across different warehouse functions to support operational needs What We're Looking For Essential ? Previous experience within a warehouse or distribution environment ? Team leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop others ? Strong organisational and communication skills ? Ability to prioritise workloads and coordinate resources effectively ? Good understanding of warehouse health and safety requirements ? A committed, reliable, and hands-on approach Desirable ?
