We have an exciting opportunity for a Class C Driver to join our team.
You will be responsible for ensuring that deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner whilst maintaining a good customer service attitude and approach. You will adhere to departure times and abide by all traffic legislation.
Other duties will include loading the vehicle, ensuring all relevant documentation is in place before leaving the depot and using the relevant technology to obtain proof of deliveries.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of multi-drop deliveries and a good knowledge of the surrounding geographical area. In addition, there must be a good understanding of health and safety, attention to detail and the ability to work and communicate as part of a team.
We are looking for a candidate with a flexible attitude to working hours and willing to do overtime where necessary. Additionally, the candidate must be physically fit as all tasks will require a degree of walking, standing, lifting or stretching. Some heavy lifting may be involved. Good communication skills and basic numeracy and literacy are essential, as are high levels of common sense, integrity and honesty.
