We are looking for a Technology Category Analyst to support our Banner Tech team, sales teams, and key public-sector frameworks. This is an excellent opportunity to build your expertise across data, pricing, tender support and supplier engagement while working closely with multiple departments across the EVO/Banner network.
About the Role
The Technology Category Analyst provides vital analytical and administrative support to ensure our technology category runs smoothly and efficiently. You will manage product feeds, pricing, data accuracy and bid processes across major frameworks such as MOD, CCS, NWUPC and NHSSC. Working with sales, finance, merchandising and commercial teams, you'll help optimise product selections, support custom pricing, and ensure smooth order and data workflows across the business. This role offers exposure to a wide range of departments, creating strong opportunities for development, progression, and deeper involvement in category strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage data and margin requirements for MOD/CCS/NWUPC/NHSSC product feeds, weekly updates, amendments and order workflows.
- Work with EVO/Banner tech teams and merchandising to secure manufacturer bid pricing.
- Support Merchandising and Finance teams with data insights when distributors reach credit limits.
- Provide analytical tender support to recommend hardware/software alternatives that generate customer savings.
- Interact with customers and sales teams where needed to raise bids and register customer-specific deals (URN, OPG etc.).
- Continuously develop product and category knowledge through training.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve day-to-day category management processes.
- Build positive relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
