The Role

As Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day control, performance and quality output of the EVM UK workshop.

This includes managing technician workload, vehicle preparation, PDI, warranty repairs, retail repairs, internal rework, quality control and workshop compliance.

This is a hands‑on operational management role requiring strong technical understanding, workshop discipline and the ability to keep vehicles moving through the business efficiently and to the correct standard.

The successful candidate will work closely with Aftersales, Parts, Warranty, Engineering and Senior Management to ensure workshop activity supports customer commitments, vehicle delivery targets and EVM’s wider quality standards.

  • Ensure work is completed to the correct technical, safety and quality standard.
  • Maintain strong quality control over vehicle preparation, repair completion and final inspection.

  • Communicate clearly with Aftersales, Warranty, Parts, Engineering and Senior Management on job status, delays and technical concerns.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with company procedures, manufacturer guidance and compliance requirements.

Performance will be measured against agreed KPIs including workshop productivity, job completion, PDI quality, repeat defects, rework levels, job card accuracy, warranty evidence quality, vehicle downtime and health and safety compliance.
