Evimed is a specialist market access & HEOR consultancy. We help pharmaceutical teams build evidence that serves the access decision behind it, holding strategy and technical execution together so that the people shaping the strategy are the people delivering it. The result is work our clients can stand behind and decisions they can defend. We are growing, and we are hiring a Principal to grow with us.
The role involves genuine ownership of a practice. You will win new work, lead the projects that deliver it, uphold the quality of that delivery, and develop the people doing it. It is a senior, high-autonomy appointment for someone who wants to build something and shape how a growing firm operates. For the right person, there is real scope to influence Evimed's direction.
What you'll do:
- Win and grow business: Originate new business, bringing your own network, credibility and relationships and converting them into engagements. Grow existing accounts through expansion and referral. Scope engagements accurately, so they can be delivered on time and on budget. Represent Evimed with senior client stakeholders (VP/Head of Market Access, Director of HEOR, Evidence Generation leads). Hold your own in a strategic conversation.
- Lead the practice: Lead delivery across a portfolio of projects — scoping, quality, timelines and client relationships — to Evimed's high standard. Keep strategy and execution connected on your engagements, ensuring the work serves the client's access decision and every choice is strategically-informed. Develop the team, mentoring analysts and consultants and building judgement across the practice. Contribute to how the firm runs — its processes, its quality, and the way we work.
Evimed's core offering:
- Evidence synthesis — systematic literature review and related methods.
- Indirect treatment comparison and network meta-analysis.
- Health economic modelling and conceptualisation.
- HTA submission support — dossier development and submissions to bodies such as NICE and under the EU Joint Clinical Assessment.
- Market access strategy — the thinking that ties the evidence to the access outcome.
- AI-integration for market access and HEOR teams.
What you'll bring:
- A proven track record of originating business in market access, HEOR or HTA — winning net-new work, with specific, concrete examples you can talk through.
- An established, relevant network among pharma and medtech market access, HEOR and evidence-generation decision-makers that you can credibly activate.
- Current, hands-on experience managing a portfolio of projects — you are already operating at this level and running multiple engagements to a high standard.
- Deep market access / HEOR domain expertise — enough technical fluency to lead the work, scope it accurately, and be credible with clients and the team alike.
- Strong commercial and delivery judgement — you understand that evidence only earns its value when it serves the decision, and you lead the work accordingly.
The kind of person who thrives here:
- You think like an owner and care about how work is delivered, not only how it is won.
- You win through credibility and relationships.
- You give clients honest advice, even when it is not the easy answer.
- You enjoy building capability in others.
- You want a smaller firm where you can shape how things are done.
What we offer:
- A senior, high-autonomy role with genuine ownership of a practice.
- Profit-share on the practice you build and run, so your reward reflects the health of the business you create.
- Real influence over the direction of a growing specialist firm.
- A team with deep collective experience across immunology, oncology, specialty care and neuroscience, and a culture of doing the work properly.
- Competitive base salary and benefits.
- London-area base with hybrid working across the UK.
Our process:
Given the seniority of the role, our process is thorough. The first step will be formed by an introductory call. Expect to talk through specific examples of business you have originated and delivered. In later stages, expectations will include to provide references who can confirm that track record, and to show how you would approach a real engagement.
