We have an Export Official Veterinarian position available around Sleaford Area - this is a temporary position for one year (potential to extend). Our list of export customers includes some of the biggest and most recognisable brands in the world who we proudly service alongside many smaller local food producers. Responsible for Veterinary Export Health Certification, you'll play an important role in facilitating the worldwide export of UK food and animal products.

If you're a well-organised MRCVS, detail-orientated and have excellent communication skills, this could be the perfect opportunity to expand your skillset. The vacancy is based at Moy Park, 2SFG and other export sites in the area. Shifts are Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends and night shifts.

Principal Accountabilities

You’ll be responsible for the completion of EHCs. This means you’ll have to check the requirements and the certificates’ notes for guidance and current legislation and will need to gather the necessary supporting documents. You’ll also have to inspect the export vehicles, goods, integrity of the packaging and labelling. You’ll need to take photographic evidence throughout the export, as indicated in the booking form, then upload them to the working IT space. You’ll supervise the loading and complete the sealing of the container. Take photographic evidence of the sealed container. After accurately completing the EHC and sending the appropriate documentation to the agreed timescale, you’ll email certified copies to all relevant parties.

Entry Requirements

Candidates must be fully registered with RCVS, with a degree in veterinary medicine. Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence or equivalent.
