We are looking for MRCVS Veterinarians to serve as the primary liaison for farmers, private veterinarians, and industry stakeholders, providing expert leadership to safeguard public health, consumer safety, and animal welfare.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Primarily office based you will complete administrative tasks related to animal health and compliance.
  • Conduct farm visits and inspections as required.
  • Manage and audit disease control programmes for enzootic and epizootic diseases.
  • Ensure compliance with animal welfare and traceability requirements through inspections and enforcement.
  • Support trade facilitation by certifying animals and products for export.
  • Provide veterinary expertise across species such as pigs, sheep, and aquatics.
  • Contribute to policy development in areas including disease surveillance, animal welfare, antimicrobial resistance, and trade facilitation.

Essential Requirements:

  • MRCVS qualification or eligible
  • Minimum of 1 years experience of working with farmed animals and/or veterinary public health (2 years preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Driving licence
