The Role
eviivo is looking for a Strategic Sales Executive to accelerate eviivo’s growth in London and major cities in the UK.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who has a good understanding of hotel operations from reception to general accounting. They will be able to offer operational expertise in the hospitality sector and deep understanding of IT/Software technologies and how they can help solve business problems.The candidate must be able to quickly get to the heart of a prospective customer’s business or technical challenges and overcome/minimize objections by identifying new value-add opportunities. They mustdisplay a deep understanding of operational workflows, systems and processes required for the day-to-day operations of larger hospitality businesses.
The ideal candidate needs to be credible and able to engage with people at all levels of an organization and must understand the importance of consultative selling to be able to truly crack the market of the larger hospitality businesses. They will provide strategic insight and guidance about potential opportunities, present the technical and operational implications, the potential benefits, disadvantages or workarounds.They will know how to propose technical/commercial solutions aligned with the agendas of both parties and drive the necessary buy-in and project management cycles internally, including getting the buy-in of other departments within the company.
This role requires regular travel to London and major cities in the UK and meetings with key external stakeholder’s both face to face and virtually.
About You
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a strategic sales role within the Hospitality / travel tech sector, and/or a senior system implementation or operational role with within a hotel chain or PMC, or consulting experience with a system integrator/consultancy organization or with an ERP provider or solution software house focused on hospitality.A strong strategic sales experience remains key and the main profile driver.
- Deep knowledge of market trends in the hotel/rental-holiday market and the sector of London / UK major cities
- University degree required
- Natural leadership
- Strong negotiation skills and business acumen
- Proficiency in delivering persuasive presentations both virtual and face-to-face
- Good understanding of hotel operations and of the technical needs and challenges.
- Able to discuss API requirements and to negotiate their feasibility, timeline, cost or on occasion other alternatives.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to identify key stakeholders and to successfully engage with them
- Native level of English is a must both spoken and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
- Self-sufficient team-player able to anticipate and demonstrate initiative
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
What The Company Offers
- Permanent full-time role
- Salary: base salary + commissions on objectives

- The role will be predominantly based from home but there will be ad-hoc meetings in the office located in Farringdon, London. The role will require regular business travels in London and in major cities in the UK
