Role Description The Kitchen Fitter role at EVIE WILLOW LIMITED is a full-time, on-site position based in Minster Lovell. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing and fitting kitchen units, worktops, appliances, and related fixtures according to design specifications and safety standards. The role involves measuring and preparing materials, carrying out minor carpentry and finishing work, and ensuring that installations are completed to a high standard of quality and cleanliness. The Kitchen Fitter will liaise with customers and colleagues to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and ensure that projects are delivered on schedule. This position also requires maintaining tools and equipment, complying with health and safety regulations, and documenting completed work as needed.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in kitchen fitting, joinery, or related trades, including accurate measuring, cutting, and installation of units and worktops.
- Strong understanding of safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards when working in residential kitchen environments.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, understand their needs, and address questions or concerns.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications, with good problem-solving skills for on-site adjustments.
- Competence in using hand and power tools safely, with a focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Reliable time-management skills, including the ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Relevant vocational training or certification in carpentry, construction, or a closely related field is beneficial.
- Valid UK driving licence and ability to travel to and from job sites in Minster Lovell and surrounding areas as required.
