Solar PV & EV Installer (Qualified Electrician)

We are looking for a skilled Solar PV & EV Installer to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for a qualified electrician with hands-on experience in solar PV systems, battery storage, and testing & inspection. The successful candidate must hold the 18th Edition qualification and relevant solar and battery storage certifications.
This position offers excellent opportunities for growth within the company, with clear pathways into senior roles and future management positions for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain solar PV systems
• Install and commission battery storage systems
• Install domestic and commercial EV charge points
• Carry out electrical testing, inspection, and certification
• Diagnose electrical and system faults
• Complete documentation and ensure compliance with BS 7671 and MCS standards
• Work independently or within a team to deliver high-quality installations

Essential Requirements

• Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) – essential
• Certified in solar PV and battery storage systems
• Strong experience in PV and battery installation and commissioning
• Competent in testing and inspection
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Desirable

• Experience installing EV charging equipment
• Clean UK driving licence
• ECS card or equivalent
