Key experience required:
- Can develop complex literature search strategies in a variety of syntaxes
- Can accurately and quickly screen records against a set of inclusion / exclusion criteria
- Can design a data extraction form and extract data accurately
- Can synthesize findings from a data extraction worksheet into a Word or PPT report
The role:
The purpose of the role is to support and lead on the design and execution of clinical, economic and quality of life systematic literature reviews. You will work alongside expert technical teams to support development of health technology assessment submission dossiers or work with internal systematic review analysts and statisticians to conduct de novo global literature reviews, amongst other projects.
Role scope/responsibility:
- Conduct and help supervise/lead systematic literature review and evidence synthesis projects:
- Design
- Running of searches
- Review of title, abstract and full papers
- Data extraction
- Quality assessment
- Reporting
- Project planning
- Client communication
- Managing/reviewing the work of other SLR analysts
Ideal profile:
- MSc/PhD in relevant field
- Extensive SLR experience, including clinical and economic SLR
- Minimum 3+ years in a consulting firm/CRO highly desirable or several years relevant academic or public sector setting
- Hands on experience of network meta-analysis an advantage, but not essential
- Exposure to HTA processes and Pharma clients/private sector clients
Freelance & Permanent contracts considered. Q2 start date (earlier the better) desirable. This role will be remote based ~ multiple locations considered.
