The role would suit a medical writer who enjoys ‘hands-on’ writing, working in a collaborative close-knit team. You will have an established leadership team to support your growth and development with no pressure to be involved in sales/BD. The role provides good visibility in a mid-sized company and the chance to work on global projects. Much of the company's work is repeat business and organic growth, with HEOR publications/manuscripts being a key deliverable this new hire will contribute.
Role scope:
- Draft, revise, and finalize scientific materials, including:
- Peer-reviewed manuscripts
- Abstracts for scientific conferences
- Scientific posters and slide decks for podium presentations
- Tables, figures, and data visualizations
Qualifications:
- MSc or other advanced degree in a life science, public health, or health economics-related field
- 2+ years of experience in a technical writing role as a professional or student
- Strong attention to detail, clarity, and scientific accuracy
- Effective interpersonal/verbal communications skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Proven experience writing for the pharmaceutical industry, public health, RWE, epidemiology, and/or HEOR is strongly preferred
