Lead high-impact real-world evidence strategy in a fast-scaling, tech-enabled consultancy environment. A highly scientific globally respected healthcare consultancy is looking for an Experienced Biostatistician to play a pivotal role in shaping real-world evidence (RWE) strategy for leading life sciences clients across the US. This is a senior, hands-on biostatistics role with leadership elements for someone who thrives at the intersection of rigorous analytics, client influence, and scientific storytelling.
What You’ll Cover
- Drive end-to-end RWE generation – from study design → analysis → interpretation → publication
- Act as the go-to statistical expert across observational studies, RWD, and clinical contexts
- Lead development of protocols + statistical analysis plans (SAPs) aligned to regulatory and payer expectations
- Partner directly with Pharma clients + cross-functional analytics teams to solve complex evidence questions
- Translate complex outputs into clear, decision-driving insights
- Shape scientific communications
- Mentor and elevate junior statisticians; help define best practices and scalable processes
Ideal profile
- Advanced degree (MSc/PhD preferred) in Biostatistics / Statistics / Epi / Maths
- 2-7 years consulting experience
- Strong track record in RWE, observational research (programming, methods, results interpretation)
- Prior consulting or CRO experience is critical to be considered for this role (or research and services experience delivering studies for pharmaceutical clients in a similar setting)
- Deep expertise in ideally ≥2 of the following: Time-to-event / survival analysis, Causal inference (propensity scores, IVs, matching), Simulation methods, Missing data methodologies, Time series / longitudinal modelling, Predictive modelling
- Hands-on experience with real-world data (claims, EHR, registries - critical)
- Proven ability to turn statistical results into scientific narrative
- Strong publication history (protocols, SAPs, peer-reviewed work)
- Advanced programming in R and/or SAS
- Comfortable operating across multiple high-priority projects in a client-facing environment
