Global Market Access, Associate Consultant - (Project Manager, often Consultant title in other firms)

I'm looking for a commercially minded Market Access Consultant to support pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare clients in navigating global pricing, reimbursement, and market access challenges.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of strategic projects, helping clients maximise the value and accessibility of innovative therapies in key international markets, including the US.

You'll work alongside experts spanning market access, health economics, epidemiology, analytics, data science, and healthcare strategy, gaining exposure to a diverse range of projects and clients while benefiting from clear progression pathways and significant responsibility from an early stage.
What You’ll Do
You’ll contribute to high-impact engagements spanning:
Market Access Strategy
- Develop global and local market access strategies
- Support pricing and reimbursement planning
- Assess payer, HTA, and competitive landscapes
- Identify evidence gaps and access barriers
Payer & HTA Insights
- Analyse payer requirements across major healthcare markets
- Support HTA submission and evidence-generation strategies
- Conduct pricing, reimbursement, and policy research
- Develop value frameworks and payer communication materials
Commercial & Strategic Advisory
- Evaluate market opportunities and launch readiness
- Support revenue forecasting and pricing strategy development
- Contribute to due diligence, licensing, and commercial assessments
- Help shape stakeholder engagement and access initiatives
Consulting & Project Delivery
- Conduct secondary research and strategic analysis
- Develop client-ready reports and presentations
- Support proposal development and business growth activities
- Manage project workstreams and deliverables
Ideal profile
Experience
- 2–4 years' experience in Market Access, Pricing & Reimbursement, HEOR, or Life Sciences Consulting
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare clients
- Consulting experience preferred
Knowledge
- Strong understanding of HTA, payer decision-making, and reimbursement pathways
- Familiarity with key global markets including Europe, UK, and US
- Understanding of pricing strategy, value-based pricing, and evidence requirements
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to synthesise complex information into clear recommendations
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
