Overview
As an ML Data Associate, you will support foundational labeling across speech, text, image, and video data to improve Alexa and related AI systems. You collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain confidentiality, and ensure high-quality annotations aligned with KPIs. You act as a SME for ML data workflows, shaping data processes and solving labeling quality issues. This role offers hands-on work with diverse data and a path to impact in a cutting-edge AI program.
Responsibilities
- Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive data per policy
- Label data across text, speech, image, and video using guidelines and in-house tools
- Serve as SME for ML data workflows and annotation quality (text, speech, image, video)
- Make logical decisions under ambiguity while executing tasks
- Demonstrate attention to detail and adaptability across categories
- Support daily operational metrics (AHT, quality, TAT) for multiple task types
- Own end-to-end data labeling processes with minimal reliance on explicit instructions
- Contribute to root cause analysis, identify error patterns, and suggest quality improvements
- Identify and propose changes to SOPs, tools, and processes to unblock operations
- Provide floor support to clarify internal queries during execution
Key requirements
- Associate degree or above
- Fluent in Dutch (read/write/speak)
- Fluent in English (read/write/speak)
- Experience writing business strategy documents and plans
- Ability to read and analyze complex business documents
- Ability to interpret and implement detailed instructions across projects
- Experience researching, gathering, and synthesizing information from multiple sources
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree or above
- Preferred: 1+ years of project management or project coordination experience
- Preferred: experience managing stakeholder relationships across departments
