Are you an experienced Life Safety/Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer looking to join a well-established and growing business working on high-profile residential and commercial projects across London and the Southeast?
We are a long-standing family-run business specialising in Security, Fire, Door Entry, Access Control and Data System solutions for high-rise developments, new builds and occupied residential sites.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a proactive and technically skilled engineer to join our commissioning team.
This is a field-based role offering excellent long-term stability, varied projects, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to work with leading security technologies and manufacturers.
- Northolt / London & Southeast Sites
- £45,000 – £50,000 DOE + Company Van + Fuel Card + Healthcare

- What you will be doing as a Life Safety/Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer:
- Commission and configure Fire Alarm, Evacuation Alert and emergency voice communication and toilet alarm systems and associated solutions.
- Perform system testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Ensure all systems are installed and commissioned in line with industry standards and client requirements.
- Work closely with installation teams, project managers, and clients during project delivery.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support where required.
- Deliver system training and handover documentation to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of commissioning activities and system configurations.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times.
- Adhoc duties as required.

What we are looking for to be our Commissioning Engineer
- Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer within the Life Safety Industry
- Strong experience with leading fire alarm systems
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Full UK driving licence
Experience with fire alarms, life safety is essential.
- Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
Field-based across London and the Southeast with occasional visits to the Northolt office.
