Glen Oaks Housing Association owns and manages approximately 1500 properties in Arden, Darnley, Pollok, Old Darnley, Regents Park and Southpark Village.

We want to recruit a Welfare Rights Assistant with excellent communication skills to join our Customer Service team.Key aspects of the role are as follows:

  • Oversee the Association’s welfare rights triage service
  • Provide information, advice and representation on money, energy, debt and housing as well as income maximisation support
  • Signpost customers to relevant partners to manage and reduce debts, budget effectively and plan for future financial independence
  • Provide IT support to customers so that they can register for Universal Credit and access other money-saving services
