Glen Oaks Housing Association owns and manages approximately 1500 properties in Arden, Darnley, Pollok, Old Darnley, Regents Park and Southpark Village.
We want to recruit a Welfare Rights Assistant with excellent communication skills to join our Customer Service team.Key aspects of the role are as follows:
- Oversee the Association’s welfare rights triage service
- Provide information, advice and representation on money, energy, debt and housing as well as income maximisation support
- Signpost customers to relevant partners to manage and reduce debts, budget effectively and plan for future financial independence
- Provide IT support to customers so that they can register for Universal Credit and access other money-saving services
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate that they:
