We are an organisation committed to providing quality, affordable homes and supporting our communities throughout Inverclyde.Oak Tree are currently looking to add to the range of skills and experience on our Management Committee.As a Management Committee member you will be part of a team responsible for the oversight and scrutiny to ensure we maintain the highest standards of corporate governance, financial management and overall strategic direction of the business.

Oak Tree Housing Association are a leading provider of social housing in Inverclyde. We own 1963 homes, provide services to over 1,000 homeowners, and have an annual turnover of over £12m.We are a registered social landlord, regulated by the Scottish Housing Regulator.We are also a registered charity, regulated by the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator.

Oak Tree’s ambitions are summarised in our overall vision: “Building Better Futures” and to support us in achieving this vision and our focus on succession planning we are seeking committed and enthusiastic people to join our Management Committee.We value commitment and experience as much as qualification and in return this challenging and rewarding role will provide you with an opportunity for both personal and professional development.

As a voluntary Management Committee member we would ask you to attend our Board meetings which are held 10 times per year.This would include preparation prior, attendance at (either physically in our board room or remotely via Teams/Zoom) and contribution to the meetings.Our Management Committee members receive a comprehensive induction, training along with the option to take up the offer of a fellow Management Committee member as a mentor.
