Are you an experienced Asset Manager with knowledge of the Housing sector? Are you passionate about the impact good quality housing can have on the local community? Elderpark Housing Association, based in the heart of Glasgow’s Govan community, invites you to become part of our dynamic and dedicated team. As an award winning organisation, Elderpark has been serving our community since 1975, providing high quality homes and exceptional services to tenants while championing a culture of care, adaptability and innovation.
Reporting to the Director of Asset Management, you will play a key role in leading and managing the team to ensure we deliver an efficient and customer focussed service across all areas of maintenance, repairs, investment and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong working knowledge of building regulations and construction best practice
- Knowledge of the Scottish Housing Regulator’s technical performance requirements
- The ability to manage projects, contractors and suppliers effectively
- An effective understanding of health and safety in line with statutory and regulatory obligations
- Experience in managing budgets ensuring value for money is achieved in all aspects of asset management and service delivery
- Excellent analytical and IT skills
- The ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with colleagues, contractors and all relevant stakeholders
- Experience in leading and motivating a team to deliver services consistent with our organisational values
