We are happy to announce that due to the retirement of our longstanding finance officer we are looking to recruit an experienced finance officer. We have recently started our digital transformation journey and we are looking for the right individual to further develop this within our Finance Department. This role will be an integral part of the finance Team.

In today’s environment, the ability to work in a changing environment with competing pressures is necessary, and the successful candidate will be a team player with a “can do” attitude and the desire to bring their own ideas on how to further enhance systems used. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to bring and enhance their skills and experience in our Finance Team to ensure deadlines are met.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the ideal candidate will have experience within a busy finance team and have an understanding of Homemaster and ideally CPL which we use for factoring, although these are not essential. We are seeking someone with excellent analytical skills, knowledge of RSL accounting legislation, attention to detail, and someone who has a basic understanding of housing regulations.

To apply for this role, we invite candidates to email a CV and a covering letter detailing how you meet the requirements of the role to recruitment@milnbank.org.uk by 12 noon on Tuesday 24 March 2026. Interviews will take place on 26 March 2026. Please ensure you provide both documents, which contain complete information on how you meet the requirements of the role you are applying for, as described in the job description and person specification. Your current salary and notice period should be included in your submission.
