Who Are Ardenglen?
Established in 1990, Ardenglen was initially set up to provide community-led action to reverse poor housing conditions and neighbourhood decline in East Castlemilk, situated in the south of Glasgow. Today, we are a leading not-for-profit landlord providing high quality homes and services in the area, where we own and manage approximately 1000 properties.
Our long-term vision is to transform communities by providing aspirational homes and services, to enhance the quality of life of our customers. In order to achieve this, we are currently focusing on consolidating and improving our services, improving opportunities for local people and seeking modest growth where available.

Your Role
It is our objective to deliver first-class customer services to our tenants whilst providing high quality homes, communities and sustainable tenancies. The Asset Compliance Assistant post forms part ofthe Asset Management team and plays a pivotal role in helping us achieve our vision.
In this role you’ll need experience of assisting with the delivery of both a reactive and cyclical maintenance service. You’ll hold knowledge of the Scottish Social Housing Charter and the associated compliance regulations as well as knowledge of related health & safety legislation.
You’ll work in collaboration with the Customer Services team to deliver positive outcomes for our customers and the community.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Asset Management: day-to-day monitoring and administration of the Associations compliance function relating to general health & safety and tenant safety matters.
- Customer Service: provide an excellent level of service to all customers, including resolving complex issues and identifying potential barriers to services to ensure high levels of tenant satisfaction.
- Performance Management: ensuring the performance of service providers to the association meet demanding standards and can demonstrate continuous improvement.
