We are seeking a motivated Junior Commercial Executive to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in sales, negotiation, and client relationship management within a fast-paced business environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the sales team in building strong relationships with clients and contributing to the growth of our commercial portfolio. A proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and organisational ability are essential for success in this position.

The Role

  • Supporting the commercial team with day-to-day trading and operations
  • Speaking with customers, suppliers, hauliers, and cold stores
  • Assisting with customer orders, stock management, and product availability
  • Helping manage deliveries, arrivals, and operational issues
  • Visiting storage facilities as part of the team
  • Assisting with stock checks, quality control, and produce management
  • General office administration and data entry
  • Learning all aspects of the wholesale fresh produce trade

What We're Looking For

  • Reliable and able to use initiative
  • Happy working as part of a small team
  • Comfortable getting stuck in both in the office and at storage facilities when required
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Flexibility to be available on bank holidays may be required

Working hours would be Monday – Friday 7am-4pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Some minimal weekend work from home will be required to help monitor operations and support the business when needed.

Pay £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
