We are developing a solution that is digital, behavioural, and evidence-based, tailored to the psychology and patterns of modern nicotine use. Our approach intelligently guides people to cut down, build new habits, and ultimately quit for good. We are now hiring a Chief Clinical Officer to lead the clinical vision, research strategy, and programme design as we move from validated need to a scalable solution. This role may begin fractional, part-time, or fixed-term, with the opportunity to transition to full-time as the company grows.

- Define psychological and clinical frameworks underpinning the product
- Ensure alignment with current best practice and emerging research
- Translate scientific literature into practical, engaging content.
- Long-term:
- Set outcome measures and clinical success criteria
- Design research studies to evaluate efficacy
- Support ethics approvals and research governance processes
- Lead or co-author academic publications and conference outputs
- Act as clinical spokesperson for partners, regulators, and investors
- Help shape long‑term regulatory and evidence pathways.
About You

- Published in peer‑reviewed journals
- Professional experience in at least one of:
- Smoking or vaping cessation
- Nicotine dependence research
- Addiction science
- Digital health intervention design
- Experience working with behavioural change methodologies
- Comfortable working in an early‑stage startup environment.
Candidates must have the right to work in the UK. We are currently unable to offer Visa sponsorship.
Nice to Have
- Prior involvement in digital therapeutics or mHealth studies
- Experience with NHS, NICE, or equivalent regulatory frameworks
- Experience with young adult or high‑frequency nicotine users
- History of securing or contributing to grant‑funded research.

- We are open to:
- Fractional C‑suite engagement
